Overview

EchoRTX is a structured observation system designed to observe how entities are represented across digital environments.

As digital information is created, shared, referenced, and reused, the representation of entities may evolve across different environments. EchoRTX provides a consistent approach for observing these representation patterns through structured observation.

EchoRTX is observational in nature. It does not evaluate quality, optimize content, predict outcomes, or measure performance. Instead, EchoRTX focuses on documenting how digital representation appears across digital environments.

Purpose

The purpose of EchoRTX is to provide a consistent system for observing digital representation through recognition, association, and contextual placement.

These observations contribute to the understanding of an entity’s observed digital position.

Scope

EchoRTX may be applied to a wide range of observation subjects, including:

  • Entities
  • Businesses
  • Brands
  • Concepts
  • Frameworks
  • Organizations
  • Products
  • Services
  • Information Constructs

Observation Model

EchoRTX observes digital representation through three primary observation signals:

  • Recognition
  • Association
  • Contextual Placement

These observation signals contribute to the understanding of an entity’s observed digital position.

System Components

EchoRTX consists of three primary components:

  • EchoLens — The observational perspective associated with EchoRTX.
  • Digital Positioning Layer (DPL) — The conceptual layer in which digital position is observed.
  • Echo Reports — The primary observation record format used to communicate observations.

System Boundaries

EchoRTX is observational in nature.

EchoRTX does not:

  • Optimize
  • Rank
  • Recommend
  • Govern
  • Certify
  • Measure performance
