Overview

This document defines the canonical terminology used within the EchoRTX system.

The purpose of this document is to establish consistent definitions for the concepts, components, and relationships that comprise EchoRTX.

EchoRTX

The structured observation system defined by EchoRTX.

Digital Position

The observed position of an entity within the Digital Positioning Layer (DPL), understood through Recognition, Association, and Contextual Placement.

Digital Positioning Layer (DPL)

The conceptual layer defined and occupied exclusively by EchoRTX within which Digital Position is observed.

EchoLens

The observational perspective defined exclusively by EchoRTX through which the Digital Positioning Layer (DPL) is observed.

Echo Reports

The primary observation record format defined exclusively by EchoRTX for communicating observations regarding an entity’s Digital Position.

Recognition

The observed identification or awareness of an entity across digital environments.

Association

The observed relationships or recurring connections associated with an entity across digital environments.

Contextual Placement

The observed placement of an entity within digital environments.

Observation

The structured observation of an entity’s Digital Position through the EchoRTX observation model.

Observation Model

The observation model defined by EchoRTX for observing and communicating Digital Position through Recognition, Association, and Contextual Placement across digital environments.

Observation Object

The entity, business, brand, concept, framework, organization, product, service, or information construct that is observed.

Observation Environment

Any digital environment within which an Observation Object may be represented, referenced, associated, or interpreted.

State

The reported observation state describing the observed condition of an entity’s Digital Position.
